Weekly World News Report – March 22, 2019

Benjamin Netanyahu and the Middle East Because the relationship between Israel and the United States has become so secure during the first two years of President Donald Trump’s administration, it’s sometimes easy to overlook the fact that much of the world still opposes the tiny Middle Eastern democracy. Because of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s steady, strong, and conservative leadership of Israel, we take for granted that everything is stable within our closest ally’s borders. Not so. For the first time

Weekly World News Report – March 1, 2019

Recently, eight prominent members of Britain’s Labour Party resigned from their party. They did so in protest of the new rise of antisemitism within the party. Luciana Berger is one of the Members of Parliament (MP) who resigned. She wrote: “I cannot remain in a party that I have come to the sickening conclusion is institutionally anti-Semitic.” Other Labour members called her a “disruptive Zionist” who supported a “murdering government.” A well-known Labour leader, Margaret Tyson, called the Israelis, “…murdering

The Variable Truth

The United States is quickly becoming a different place. Many of the things we took for granted just a few short years ago may no longer be true. Here’s one: Bipartisan support for Israel in the United States Congress. Recently, the Senate passed a bill. It’s called “The Strengthening America’s Security in the Middle East Act.” The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) notes that the bill, “contains critical pro-Israel provisions.” According to AIPAC, “These provisions… pledge security assistance to

Wikipedia – Consensus Science at its Worst

Wikipedia – A dubious source, but a powerful tool for suppressing dissent   by Paul Price Since its inception in 2001, Wikipedia has been a controversial website, plagued with problems, the greatest of which is the serious concern of biased and inaccurate content.1 This is no small problem for the internet at large, since Wikipedia has become a go-to source on nearly everything, appearing in a very high percentage of Google searches as one of the top results.2 More recently, Google was embarrassed

Heaven Consists of Just One Race

Did you know God only allows one race of human beings into heaven?  From a biblical worldview, all humans are descendants of Adam, so biologically there is only one race.  Observational science has confirmed that there is only one race of human beings.1 Also, the science of genetics has helped us understand that there are no truly black people and no truly white people – all humans are different shades of brown depending on their level of melanin. Furthermore, the

Microchips and “The Mark”

You’ve heard me say before that I think the “mark of the beast” described in Revelation 13 may well be a microchip implanted in the hand or the forehead. The chip could easily contain a numeric prefix issued by the Antichrist’s government to all who comply. The presence of that number would confirm the chip bearer’s acceptable status with the government. In describing this mark, Revelation 13:17 mentions that only those who have the government’s approved “mark” would be able

Armageddon

Just over two months ago, the world watched as the United States opened its embassy in the city of Jerusalem. President Donald Trump was not only fulfilling a campaign promise, but he was, according to him, simply recognizing reality. Jerusalem is and has always been the capital of Israel. […] The ancient Bible prophets foretold that Jerusalem will become the focal point of the world. It is. We know the nations of the world will one day gather against it.

School Shootings – A Closer Look

As a parent and grandparent, I can honestly say that I am horrified by the thought of even one child dying in any sort of violence while at school. We have always thought of America’s schools as a safe harbor for our children, a place we could send them for the day without worrying about their safety or comfort. Sadly, those may be halcyon days that we will never know again. But just because those times are apparently past does not

The man who may lead Russia into Israel on the road to Armageddon

Attempted assassination of Sergei Skripal Debate is raging this week over the attempted assassination in England of Sergei Skripal, a former Russian spy who became a double agent for the United Kingdom.  Skripal, his daughter, and an English policeman are in critical condition in a Salisbury hospital.  The UK government says Skripal was attacked — on British soil — by Russia. They believe this because they have determined that a chemical nerve agent called Novichok was found at the site,

Where is America’s Greatness?

Donald Trump wants so much to see America return to greatness that in 2012 he trademarked the slogan, “Make America Great Again!” In 2016, that sentiment finally resonated with a majority of American voters. I believe there is a broad sense among Americans that we’ve left something behind — something crucial. But what? What made America so successful, rich, safe, powerful, and desirable?  We keep hearing that it was “American values.” But what are “American values?” The definition you would
