The Belligerent Bear

Last week, in the Baltic Sea off the coast of NATO-member Poland, two Russian fighter jets “buzzed” a United States destroyer, the USS Donald Cook. And not just “buzzed” in a convivial, welcoming manner, but in an aggressive, in-your-face style. In fact, they flew so close to the ship that the jets’ airflow caused wakes in the water. The week previously, a Russian fighter jet aggressively challenged an American RC-135 reconnaissance aircraft flying in international airspace over the Baltic Sea.

Shifting Ground

There’s no need for me to tell you that this general election season has been one of the most bizarre in our history. With close to two dozen candidates vying for the presidential nominations of both major parties, it’s been a little like watching an overcrowded horse race. But as we approach summer, the fields have dwindled to a total of five between the two tickets. Suffice it to say that in the interminable multitude of candidate debates, the topics

A More Perfect Union

Many people have wondered why I’ve been speaking out on controversial issues for the last few years. They say I’ve never held political office. I’m not a constitutional scholar. I’m not even a lawyer. All I can say to that is “Guilty as charged.” It’s true that I’ve never voted for a budget America could not afford. I’ve never raised anyone’s taxes. And I’ve never promised a lobbyist anything in exchange for a donation. Luckily, none of that really matters.

Death of Judge Threatens Constitutional Precepts

The recent abrupt death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia focuses attention on the looming fight for the rule of law upon which the United States of America is founded. What is at stake — literally — is whether the U.S. Constitution with all of its guarantees and protections will continue to be our firm foundation. Or will it become, as the Left in America wants, simply a rulebook that can be amended at the whim of any judge to

Increased Drug Use Predicted Over 2000 Years Ago

America’s eyes have [recently] been on New Hampshire. But we’ve been so focused on the outcome of the presidential primaries, we have not noticed the dark specter that is rising there. According to several recent polls, the number one concern for New Hampshire residents is not who will be the Democrat or Republican nominee. It’s not the economy. It’s not even President Obama’s number one concern: climate change. Surprisingly, the issue that is uppermost for the greatest number of New

Abandoning Israel – Part II

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry recently admitted that Hezbollah has 70 to 80,000 rockets (all aimed at Israel, by the way), “…and much of it supplied, obviously, across the border from Iran through Damascus.” Yet he and President Obama proudly pushed the Iran deal through. Because, I think, to most Americans and Europeans, Iran having nuclear weapons is simply “theoretical.” We don’t feel threatened by it (though we should), so who cares? But Israel will be the target of

Abandoning Israel – Part I

Within days of Implementation Day for the Iran Nuclear Agreement (JCPOA) and the release to Iran of more than a hundred billion dollars in frozen assets (and other juicy perks), Iran captured two U.S. Navy Riverine Command Boats that were “disabled” in the Persian Gulf. They only held the sailors for a day (enough time to shoot some propaganda video) before releasing them. Secretary of State John Kerry thanked the Iranians for being such good guys and helpful world citizens

2015: A Giant Leap Toward Prophetic Fulfillment

From the perspective of Bible prophecy, 2015 may be remembered as the year Satan’s key project began to rise.  Since at least the time of Nimrod, Satan has been laying the groundwork for a one-world government, with his man in charge.  Through the millennia since, he’s had successes and setbacks. But in 2015, the foundation became complete enough for him to begin building the actual edifice.  [2015] seemed to bring us to the critical time when Satan’s one-world order got

U.S Judge Pledges Allegiance to Jihad

Fox News reported on December 16, that a Muslim Civil Court judge in New York City was sworn in using the Koran, the holy book of Islam, as a testament to her radical Islamic belief system. That a judge or politician can now legally swear allegiance to the Islamic ideology, one that allows wife-beating, abuse of children, and other crimes that would usually be considered aberrations in Western countries, is a stark change to the previous, God-inspired value system of the United States.

Changes of Allegiances & Alliances

In a move that stunned some analysts and even members of Congress, Russia, Iran, Syria, and Iraq announced they would form an intelligence-sharing unit headquartered in Baghdad. In 2003, the United States went to war in Iraq to stop Saddam Hussein from building, acquiring, and using weapons of mass destruction. After winning the war, we stayed and helped rebuild Iraq at a cost of hundreds of billions of dollars, and many U.S. lives. Out of that sacrifice, Iraq gained a
