A Look at 2018 Through The Prophetic Lens

At the beginning of his masterpiece, A Tale of Two Cities, Charles Dickens wrote: “It was the best of times. It was the worst of times.” Wow! He could have been writing about the United States of America in 2018. All we ever hear is that it is the worst of times. Reality says that, in many ways, it has been the best of times. Off-the-charts employment — for all racial groups — and increasing wages. A booming economy as

Racism & Identity Politics

Though we do not want to think about it, and some will deny its existence, there is a worldwide phenomenon happening right now. It is ripping apart nations, communities, and even families.  It’s called “Identity Politics.” It is dangerous. Those who engage in it are contributing to the destruction of our great nation. Those who promote it in government, the media, and international relations are doing so for their own political and financial benefit. But they are playing with fire.

UNESCO resolution denies Israel’s historic connection to the Temple Mount

Unbelievable! As Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu observed, “To say Israel has no connection to the Temple Mount and the Western Wall is like saying that China has no connection to the Great Wall of China or that Egypt has no connection to the Pyramids!” It appears obvious that UNESCO did this to appease Muslim extremists. In fact, UNESCO executive board members France, Greece, Italy, Spain, and Sweden all voted to “abstain.” Have they no courage? No respect for history and

Threat to Religious Rights extends to Universities

“It’s pretty amazing how quickly we got here, to a place in society where those of faith are to be silenced by the loud and powerful few; where one’s conscience counts only if it reflects the extreme views of the political elite.” This week, Cathi Herrod, President of Center for Arizona Policy, wrote this news update on California’s SB 1146, a bill that would have forced religious universities in California to abandon biblical teachings about human sexuality or lose state-funded scholarships

Terrorism & Ignorance on the Rise

December 5, July 14, July 24, July 26, August 4, and August 5, 2016. Those are some of the most prominent, but just a few of the dates that Islamic terrorism struck Europe. Not the U.S. Not the Middle East. Not Africa. Not South America. Not Asia. Just Europe. And just this year, which is barely half over. No, you’re not imagining it. Terrorism is increasing around the world. And increasing rapidly. According to the nonprofit investigative group, Project on

The misunderstood appeal of Muslim terror groups

Many members of the mainstream media are trying to make a big deal out of the fact that the terrorist who murdered 84 people in Nice, France last week was not a “devout Muslim.” It seems they are relieved, if not happy, that he was an evil person, but not a “radical Muslim.” These clueless people (who, unfortunately, wield enormous power in our world) completely misunderstand the appeal of Muslim terror groups. Terror groups do not recruit from among the

Is Shariah law coming to America?

A recent survey by the Center for Security Policy found that 51% of recent immigrants to the United States believe that “Muslims in America should have the choice of being governed by Shariah.” Did you get that? More than half of the migrants who are being allowed into the country prefer the oppression of Shariah law to the freedom of the American way of life. But that’s not even the worst of it. The same poll found that 25% of

When is a duck not a duck?

Boy, the blame game has gotten rather bizarre. Not only are prominent lawmakers blaming guns for the [Orlando] killings, but President Obama went so far as to imply that the shootings are the fault of Americans who believe that homosexual behavior is a sin.Of course, it could never be the fault of Muslims who believe homosexual behavior is a sin. Senator John McCain believes the President’s foreign policy is at fault.  The New York Times blames Republicans. Don’t believe me?

Spiritual World War

We’re beginning to see new levels of radical Islamic brutality. Both the amount of violence and its horrific nature seem to be escalating.  Stories emerging from Afghanistan about Taliban actions are starting to rival the atrocities of ISIS. And the constant stream of reports about Muslim on Muslim attacks in the Middle East are beginning to numb our Western sensibilities. I think we are entering a new era of what I call “Spiritual World War.” And I believe that, more

Infidels Suffer Through Ramadan

Almost two weeks in, it’s been a rough Ramadan.  For infidels, that is.  Ramadan is a month-long celebration to commemorate the supposed revelation of the Koran to Mohammad. The lowest point thus far is the murderous rampage of a Muslim radical at a nightclub for gays in Orlando, Florida. 50 dead and another 53 wounded. Four Israelis were killed in a Ramadan-related attack on a restaurant in Tel Aviv last week. And there have been several other acts of terrorism
